It is definitely possible to find a condo unit for under $200,000 in Scarborough and those in Markham start at about $225,000 and some in the higher range, those around half a million, are as nice as the million dollar units downtown.
If you're looking for a family home with some outdoor space than you will definitely be paying for the privilege downtown. Standalone homes in areas like the Annex usually start around $750,000 and quickly rise into the millions. On the other hand, Brampton homes for sale are much more reasonably priced and have become very popular with first-time homebuyers. There are many homes on the market for under $300,000 and new home designs on a half-acre of land go for around $500,000.
